Book Donation drive

REPORT ON BOOK DONATION DRIVE


he Library of JDT Islam College of Arts and Science successfully organized a Book Donation Drive to enrich the library’s resources and promote a spirit of academic generosity among students and faculty.

The drive saw enthusiastic participation across departments. The B.Com Computer Application Department, led by Dr. Gangasree, won the Overall Best Department Award for their outstanding contribution.

In the individual category, Ms. Riya Mehtab was declared the Individual Champion for donating the highest number of books among students.

Faculty members also made commendable contributions.

  • Ms. Hridya Sanjeev, Assistant Professor, Department of Literature, donated over 100 books, earning special appreciation.

  • Other notable contributors include:

    • Ms. Heba Fathima, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce

    • Mr. Muhammed Rishal, Assistant Professor, Department of Literature

    • Ms. Tesna Mathew, Assistant Professor, Department of Food Technology

    • Ms. M. Sujamol, Assistant Professor, Department of Functional English

    • Mr. Ramesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology

    • Teachers from the Language Department

The overwhelming support from faculty and students helped make this drive a grand success. A short felicitation program was held to honor the winners and appreciate all participants.The books collected will now become a part of the library collection, accessible to all students and stafffostering learning, sharing, and the love of reading.
