REPORT ON BOOK DONATION DRIVE

he Library of JDT Islam College of Arts and Science successfully organized a Book Donation Drive to enrich the library’s resources and promote a spirit of academic generosity among students and faculty.

The drive saw enthusiastic participation across departments. The B.Com Computer Application Department, led by Dr. Gangasree, won the Overall Best Department Award for their outstanding contribution.

In the individual category, Ms. Riya Mehtab was declared the Individual Champion for donating the highest number of books among students.

Faculty members also made commendable contributions.

• Ms. Hridya Sanjeev, Assistant Professor, Department of Literature, donated over 100 books, earning special appreciation.

• Other notable contributors include:

  • Mr. Muhammed Rishal, Assistant Professor, Department of Literature

The overwhelming support from faculty and students helped make this drive a grand success. A short felicitation program was held to honor the winners and appreciate all participants.The books collected will now become a part of the library collection, accessible to all students and stafffostering learning, sharing, and the love of reading.

അമേരിക്കയിലെ വിദ്വേഷവും വിവേചനവും നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്ന അലിയുടെ ജീവിതം, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബോക്സിങ് കരിയർ, ഇസ്ലാം മതത്തിൽ പ്രവേശനം, തന്റെ തത്വചിന്തകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ഇത് മായാവും. ഒരുപക്ഷേ, ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രചോദനകരമായ വ്യക്തികളിൽ ഒരാളുടെ ജീവിതം മലയാളി വായനക്കാർക്ക് മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശ്രദ്ധേയ കൃതി കൂടിയാണിത്.

 On Reading Day, under the auspices of the Principal, the Department of English's 2023-2026 batch donated two significant books to the library. This thoughtful contribution aims to inspire and cultivate a deeper love for literature within the community.
